Friday 21st November.

Last week was a mental one for Simon... He's been hobnobbing with one of comedy's BIGGEST stars... His surprise appearance at one of Simon's nights was the booking of the century - even if it meant Simon was bumped out of performing - and a mere 24 hours later he got to meet the star himself at The Graham Norton Show... Video up soon...

Elsewhere on Year Dot... Gilly's still out in Lyon and may well be spending the most important game of the tournament on the bench... Chloe's still stressing about money as she juggles university with wrestling... Tom has a new potential business partner... and Claire's gone ahead with her Obama (non-fundraising!) party in York, despite its surrounding blogging fiasco...

I've never been a part of a winning team for anyth
I've always been used to second place or (even worse) the one with 'good effort' stamped on their forehead. So to work so hard, and to see it pay off for once by being a part of the team that got someone elected President is a new feeling on many levels.

I went up for a header and got headbutted...
by a girl and split my eye open and got a black eye! It's really bad, only able to open it now, still not fully open though.

A chance to appear on Channel 4

Have you got a certain ambition or goal you want to achieve this year? Have you used MySpace to make your ambition a reality? Do you think our Year Dotters could benefit from your advice and experience?

If you are aged 18-24 and full of opinions, then why not our competition which could give you the chance to appear on the Year Dot Review Show. Have you got ideas on how Sheila could get herself signed? Do you know any young dads like Jamal who could benefit from advice? Is Claire the kind of politician we want for the future?

The successful winners will be invited to take part in filming the Year Dot Review Show in London during December and once edited the show will be featured on MySpace with highlights shown on Channel 4.
